摘要
介绍了Internet的由来与发展现状，特别是全面地介绍了中国Internet的发展现状；讨论了Internet所提供的服务、Internet的应用现状及前景；提出了Internet发展所面临的问题；最后就Internet对我们社会的各种影响进行了探讨。
Firstly,the history and current situation of Internet,especially in China,is in troduced in this paper. Its functions and application are also discussed. Then the issues in developing Internet are pointed out. And at the last,the positive and the negative effects of Internet on our society are discussed.
