It is main of Quaternary period shore deposit in shallow soil strata of nearshore alluvial plain area. There is heavy moisture content in foundation soil and the soil is soft, which causes that the groundwater becomes to the main problem in foundation construction. The control of groundwater in shallow foundation construction has been presented to make of the care to it.
