摘要
论述了地理学的发展历程及现代地理学危机的客观存在．认为这种危机的症结主要在于随着经济建设的深入发展，地理学没有理顺与政府部门的行政关系，维持地理学生存和发展的资金渠道不通以及没有能够及时适应新时期的要求，因此地理学反危机必须着眼于加强理论建树，以人地关系为主线，占领可持续发展这块阵地，按照市场经济规律办事。
The development and crisis of the modern geography have been discussed.The crisis of the modern geography are lacking of funds and its unable to fit the meets of modern society.It is pointed out that to overcome the crisis,modern geography should take concern on the sustainable development and the relationship between the man and environment.
