摘要
基于侧准直原理和LED的光强分布特性,结合现有的二维准直表面和非成像光学二维形成给定光强分布表面的设计方法,设计了具有扩展功能的垂向准直、侧向120°内角向均匀分布的适用于航标灯的LED单元模块。利用该模块,可以很容易地拼装出全角360°的LED航标灯系统。在现有LED的光效水平下,整个系统的峰值光亮度可以达到83cd/W,具有很高的能量利用效率。
A novel optical lens for Light-emitting Diode (LED) light source is designed based on side-collimation method and two-dimensional prescribed intensity design method in nonimaging optics. Unlike rotational-collimation method used in many collimating optical systems, the side-collimation method collimates the incident rays only vertically. The 2D prescribed intensity design method is also used to design an optical surface that can distribute light uniformly in horizontal direction. The designed optical lens can collimate the light in vertical direction within plus/minus 5 degrees, while distribute the light energy uniformly in horizontal direction within 120 degrees. A LED navigation lamp system can be constructed easily using the novel optical lens. Simulation results show that constructed navigation lamp system is very efficient, whose peak intensity can reach 83cd/w under current level of white LED's luminous efficiency.
