On the Construction of the Global Top University in China

在建设世界一流大学的过程中,我国自新中国成立以来,走过的是一条并不平坦的曲折之路。就是今天,我们在面对顶尖学者少、顶级成果少和国际化程度不高等客观差距面前,却依然缺乏深度的理性分析,出现了追求大而全、沽名钓誉和短平快的主观偏差与建设误区,严重地影响着我国世界一流大学的建设。针对当前现状,应从试办特区大学、优化学术环境和强化国际交流三方面构建其施行方略。

In the constructing of the first-class universitiy in the world, China has wound a long distance since its foundation in 1949. Today, confronted with the reality of the shortage of top-level scholars and scientific achievements, and the situation of lower internationalization, some Chinese educational institutions are chasing for the prometion of constructing the global top universities in a all-round way, which is fishing for the fame and compliments, resulting in a hindrance to university-building, In the light of this situation, the paper proposes three strategies： constructing universities in special zones, opitimizing academic environment, and promoting international communication.
