摘要
托尼.布赞发明的思维导图是一种有益的学习工具,但并未引起中国英语研究者的关注。文章首先对思维导图14年(1994-2007)来在中国的发展作了详细回顾和分析,接着又以语言学习过程为例着重对思维导图在培养英语学习者元认知能力方面所起的作用进行了探讨,以期引起中国英语研究者的注意,并能对中国各类英语教学及各个层次的英语学习有所帮助。
Tony Buzan invented Mind Mapping in 1960s, which is a very powerful thinking skill for facilitating learning, but it fails to catch the English scholars'attention of China, This paper first has a retrospection of Mind Mapping's development in China during the 14 years from 1994 to 2007 by analyzing the published essays in key journal through http://dlibz, edu. cnki. net, then has a detailed discussion of its usage on fostering English leanrmers'meta-cognition, aiming to cause the English scholars'attention of China and facilitating English teaching as well as English learning of diverse levels.
