人际隐喻是功能语法用来解释人际纯理功能的重要概念。人际隐喻分为语气隐喻和情态隐喻两部分。介绍了人际隐喻的表现形式,着重探讨人际隐喻的语用功能(主要体现在间接言语行为和礼貌原则上)。从而揭示了语法隐喻与语用学相互沟通的可能性。

Interpersonal metaphor is an important concept to explain interpersonal metafunction in Hallidayan functional grammar. There are two major types： metaphors of mood and metaphors of modality. This paper starts from the realizations of interpersonal metaphor, and further analyzes the pragmatic functions （ mainly about indirect speech acts and politeness phenomena）. The conclusion points out the possibility of the interaction between interpersonal metaphor and pragmatics.
