The basic measuring principle and system structure of the advanced X-Ray thickness gauge on the double stand reversing cold mill imported fi＇om IMS was introduced. The network structure and data flow of the measuring system were introduced. The working principle and the good effect in actual application of the instrument from the data flowing was analyzed, The control and communication method is high flexible by design. It is very steady and reliable in use.
