赫刺螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:皮刺螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF HIRSTIONYSSUS FROM CHINA (ACARI: DERMANYSSIDAE)

本文对小毛足鼠体上的赫刺螨新种一毛足鼠赫刺螨 Hirstionyssus phodopi sp.nov.进行了描述,该种与新华赫刺螨 Hirstionyssus neosinicus Teng et Pan,1962相近似。模式标本采自宁夏中宁县,保存在宁夏回族自治区地方病防治所和贵阳医学院寄生虫学教研室。

In present paper a new species of Hirstionyssus Fonseca is described and figured from China.Hirstionyssus phodopi sp. nov. (figs. 1-8)This new species close related to Hirstionyssus neosinicus Teng et Pan, 1962, but may be differenciated by the following characters: 1) the dorsal setae of the new species, F3, V, T, ET1-2, Sc and M,, heavy and long, S1-8 and D, lesser, F1,D1-7,I1-2 small, those of the latter species all small but T, Sc, ET1-2 and S1-2 longer; 2) the sternal plate of the new species with a heavily sclerotized anterior region, crescent-shaped, which absent in the latter species; 3) the spine on the venter of coxa Ⅱ smaller than the inner spine on the coxa Ⅲ in Histionyssus neosinicus, and those spines same in size in the new species; 4) the bared venter bearing 25 setal pairs in the new species and 33 pairs in the latter species.Holotype ♀, allotype ♂ and paratypes 13♀♀, 4 ♂♂, 9 deuwnymphs were collected on Aug. 28 to Sept. 1, 1986, off phodopus roborovskii (Satunin, 1903), from Zhongning County, 37.6°N, 105.9°E, Ningxia Hui Autonomous District. Three paratypes are deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College, other specimens deposited in the Institute of Endemic Disease Control, Ningxia Hui Autonomous District.
