Construction of a Harmonious Society and Innovation in Researches on Chinese Modernization——A Review of "2007 National Symposium on the Construction of a Harmonious Society and Chinese Modernization"

2007年7月27日至31日,"和谐社会建设与中国现代化进程"理论研讨会在江苏省淮海工学院召开。研讨会上,与会人员围绕"和谐社会建设与中国现代化进程"这一主题进行了深入而广泛的探讨,并取得了新的进展。在和谐社会构建理论方面,与会专家对和谐社会相关概念进行了梳理,并深入探讨了和谐社会的理论基础,提出了"和谐哲学"新概念;在和谐社会建设与中国现代化的关系方面,突破性地阐释了马克思主义现代化与中国现代化的逻辑统一;在和谐社会建设的路径选择上,形成了"制度创新"与"可持续发展"等不同对策。

On July 27-31, 2007, ＂2007 National Symposium on the Construction of a Harmonious Society and Chinese Modernization＂ was held in Huaihai Institute of Technology, Jiangsu Province. At the symposium, experts and scholars made discussions on a wide range of topics, centering on the ＂construction of a harmonious society and Chinese modernization＂ with many new theoretical fruits born. As regards the construction of a harmonious society, they probed deep into its theoretical foundation, conceived of the new concept of ＂harmony philosophy＂ and reached consensus on the ways of construction by institutional innovation and sustainable development. As to its relationship with Chinese modernization, they expounded on the internal unity of logic between the modernizations of Marxism and China.
