The Anxiety of Qu Yuan's Desire to Get a Good Reputation

本文从人格心理学的角度分析屈原的情感因素。认为屈原情感中有一个重要的特点,就是"恐修名之不立"的焦虑,即修名焦虑。产生这种修名焦虑的原因有三:一,屈原深受儒家内圣外王思想的影响;二,屈原存在一定程度的自卑心理;三,现实环境的激烈变化,导致屈原产生焦虑情绪。本文认为屈原的自杀,是由其焦虑情绪引发的抑郁症所致。

The present paper analyzes Qu Yuan＇s emotional factor in the aspect of personality psychology. It holds that there is an important feature in Qu Yuan＇s emotion, that is, he is ＂ afraid not to get a good reputation＂. There are three reasons to account for that. First, Qu Yuan is deeply involved in Confucianism of looking for a perfect personality. Second, Qu Yuan is psychologically self - inferior more or less. Third, the intense change of the realistic environment, which causes Qu Yuan to have anxiety. The writer believes that Qu Yua＇s suicide is the result of the anxious mood in initiation depression.
