试谈成人教育在建设广西少数民族地区社会主义新农村中的地位和作用

Status and Function of Adult Education in the Construction of Socialist New Countryside for Minority Groups in Guangxi

社会主义新农村建设是一项长期而繁重的历史任务。成人教育在少数民族地区社会主义新农村建设中具有十分重要的地位和作用:可提高新农村建设者的素质,推动义务教育的普及与提高,为新农村建设进行教育储备;为少数民族农村积累人力资源,加速现代农业建设步伐。教育平等是社会公平、正义的基石,成人教育是实现教育平等的有效途径,发展成人教育还可有效地提高少数民族农民思想道德素质,构建和谐农村。

The foundation of socialist new countryside is a long and heavy historical task. Adult education plays a very important role during the process of the socialist new countryside foundation. It can improve the quality of the foundation of new countryside, push forward the improvement and popularization of compulsory education, store educational resources for new countryside foundation, accumulate human resources for minority rural area and speed up the step of modern agriculture. Educational equality is the base of social justice and adult education is the effeetive way to realize educational equality. Developing adult education also can raise people＇s ideological and moral standards in the minority area and establish harmonious rural areas.
