The microalloying of Si Mn medium carbon cast steel is studied. The properties of the cast steel could be improved significantly by multiple microalloying and proper heat treatment, and the effect of V Nb RE is larger than that of one or any two elements of these three. The research shows that the multiple microalloying is an effective way to improve the properties of cast steel.
