Molecular weight was controlled by addition of chain transfer agent (CCl 4)or by changing the ratio of vinyl acetate and the solvent in its polymerization.The results give two exponential expsessions: Log DP =A+B Log X(X -the volume of CCl 4 in 100g monomer) and Log DP =C+DY(Y -the weight ratio of the solvent and the monomer).
