As a part of medical and health care system, hospital planning is always a continuous process, and its pace of changing always depends on the general development level of a country. Although the development of medical and health care system varies greatly in different countries, they are equally important with different experiences. This paper reports about the experience made during the harmonization of the different medical and health care systems in East and West Germany.
