A few accident cases happened in the magnesium industry are given. The safety problems during the magnesium processing, such as workshop design, raw materials reservation, melting, die casting, machining, waste disposal and fire prevention, are introduced in more detail. The safe production factors and measures are discussed. The emphasis is put on the management work.
