三维和二维平移运动估计算法分析研究 被引量:1

摘要 运动估计和补偿预测编码是视频编码标准中的一项关键技术,其核心问题在于如何利用当前帧和参考帧来估算运动矢量.文章结合H.264/AVC视频编码标准的新特征,对传统运动估计和运动补偿算法和三维平移运动估计和算法进行了分析.通过计算复杂性的分析,认为在视频预测编码中,可以根据视频编码要求,采用二维运动估计或三维平移运动估计,提高压缩编码性能. Motion estimation and motion compensation are included as major technologies into the existing video coding standards,which generate the motion vectors that determine how each motion compensated prediction frame is created from the reference frame.This paper compares the traditional motion estimation with the 3D translational based on the new features of H.264 and gets some practical results.The analysis of computational complexity provides reasonable evidence to select 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional motion estimation for video coding in practical applications so as to improve compression coding efficiency.
