The concept of the TAPI protocol is systematically analyzed. The integrated steps of the telephone control program are made by TAPI. The classification of the TAPI protocol interface and the realization of the TAPI telephone application are introduced. For further study of the TAPI in the development of the telephone application programming system it plays a certain role.
