Development of the Optical Fiber Access in the Buildings

光纤向楼栋发展,既是广电网络业务发展的需要,也是三网融合的需要。成熟的EPON技术和廉价的光纤为光纤向楼栋发展铺平了道路。针对目前经济状况一般的地区,提出光缆网络建设3~5年内不宜盲目向光纤到户、全光网发展。比较细致地论述了光纤向楼栋发展的必要性和重要意义,以及实施操作中技术的可行性及需注意的事项。

The development of the optical fiber access in the buildings is not only to meet the needs of broadcast television network business, but also meet the needs of the Three-Networks Amalgamation. The mature EPON technology and the low-cost optical fiber have paved the way for the development of the optical fiber access in the buildings. Aimed at the common places, this paper proposes that it is not suitable to develop the FTTH and the optical fiber network transformation in 3 or 5 years. The paper also discusses in detail the necessity and importance of the optical fiber access in the buildings, as well as the technical feasibility in operation.
