摘要
改善图书馆职业声望、社会地位和群体形象是图书馆发展的重要目标,继承、深化和发展图书馆基本职能是这一目标得以实现的保证。继承、深化和发展图书馆基本职能的关键是提高图书馆的综合馆力,把图书馆打造成"服务型"图书馆。文章在阐述"服务型"图书馆的涵义和基本特征的基础上,对如何构建"服务型"图书馆进行了探讨。
On the basis of the content and essential characteristics of ＂service -oriented＂ library, the paper discusses how to construct ＂service- oriented＂ library.
