Charlotte Bronte＇ s magnum operses, Jane Eyre and Villette, which were seen as autobiographies of her, described females＇ lives from her female viewpoint. Charlotte didn＇ t give much portrayal on the finery of the characters. However, her description on color, style, and materials of the finery precisely delineate images of the roles and her tasteful aesthetic standards on finery were reflected as well.
