This paper analyzes an important pattern of school social work in the field of social work-the growth group practiced by the students in the department of social work of our university. And it also examines the ways of enhancing mental quality of undergraduates from the students＇ point of view. Finally, it suggests a tentative plan of constructing undergraduates＇ mental defense through professional techniques of school social work.
