新疆甲螨一新种(蜱螨亚纲:邦甲螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF ORIBATID MITE FROM XINJIANG, CHINA (ACARI: ORIBATIDA: BANKSINOMIDAE)

本文记述了采自新疆天山的邦甲螨科Banksinomidae蕾甲螨属Gemmazetes一新种——天山蕾甲螨 Gemmazetes tianshanensis sp.nov.。对新种的形态特征进行了描述,并对新种与属内已知种作了比较鉴别。文内所用量度单位均为μm。

The present paper deals with a new species of the genus Gemmazetes Fujikawa, 1978 from China.Gemmazetes tianshanensis sp, nov. (figs. 1-8)Body length 480(518)560 Mm, width 244(254)272 μm.This new species resembles to C. alpestris (Willmann, 1929) from Germany and G. mon-golica (Balogh et Mahunka, 1965) from Mongolia, but differs from the latter two in following characters: Body length (410×200 μm and 355×213μm); prodorsum with continuous co-stulae like a translamella; sensillus slightly fusiform, with a needle-shape apex, bearing few scattered barb in mid-portion; setae ta smooth and shorter than setae te; epimeral plate Ⅳ (ep4) with separated chitinous line.Holotype: Mt. Tianshan (3700 m), Xinjiang, Sept. 20. 1985, Coll. Bu Zhau-yi; 10 paraty-pes collecting data as for holotype. The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Bethune University of Medical Sciences.
