摘要
在英语教学中,数字习语极为普遍,数字在习语中承载着许多特有的文化信息,从一个侧面反映了一个民族的文化心理。本文拟从一些具体有代表性的英语数字习语入手,探讨其中所体现出来的英语文化意蕴及其文化根源。
In English, the use of numerical idioms is very common. Being carried much cultural information, numerical idioms reflect the cultural connotations of a race. This essay will embody the cultural connotations and the cultural origins of many English idioms by discovering their deep meanings.
