Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for simultaneous interpretation（SI） in China. As a general introduction, the paper describes the definition and unique characteristics of SI. The author focus on three basic rules for simultaneous interpreters to follow： follow and shadow, disintegration and restructure, multi-task treatment model, with the intention to help people better understand its peculiar processing way,and to improve quality of output in SI.
