海岛纤恙螨新种记述(蜱螨亚纲:恙螨科)

Description of Leptotrombidium (Leptotrombidium) insularae sp. nov. (Acari: Trombiculidae)

本文报道作者在我国东矶列岛发现一新种恙螨,定名为海岛纤恙螨。本新种感毛基部有明显小棘,PLs/SB,AP>PS,此与居中纤恙螨 L.intermedium有明显区别;本新种隶属于akamushi种团pallidum亚种团,与该亚种团的pallidum、burnsi近似。但后二种恙螨的背板很宽,pallidum的PW/AP=3.85,burnsi的PW/AP=4.1,而本新种的PW/AP=3.15,同时本新种的背腹毛总数也比pallidum、burnsi为少。本新种已被证实为恙虫病的传播媒介。

This mite collected from Tou Men of Dong Ji Islands, Zhejiang Province, is a new species of Leptotrombidium and now is described as follows:Leptotrombidium (Leptotrombidium) insularae sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)Body oval, tangerine colored. Galeal seta branched, formula of palpal setation N-N-BNN/7B. Palpal claw with three prongs. Scutum punctate, PW/AP = 3,15. Se-nsilla filiform, with long lateral branches on the distal 2/3, and with conspicuous setules near its base. Eyes 2/2. Scutal measurements in average (μm): AW 64, PW 70, SB 30, ASB 27, PSB 14, AP 22, AM 43, AL 35, PL 51, Sens 52. PW > AW, AP>PS, PL>AM>AL, PLs/SB. Dorsal setae 40-44 in number, arranged as 2-10-2-8-10-6-4-2. Ventral setae 41-47 in number. Leg Ⅰ 251 μm, leg Ⅱ 243μm, leg Ⅲ 271 μm. IP = 765. SIF = 7B-B-3-2111-0000.The differentiation between the new species and similar species is as follows: L. insularae sp. nov. Another 15 paratypes collected from the same host from Tou Men, Que Er Ao and Tian Ao of Dong Ji Islands. Holotype and 17 paratypes deposited in the Rickettsial Diseases Research Unit, Logistic Department, Zhejiang Military Area and 2 paratypes deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Fujian Medical College.
