"四个坚定不移"是胡锦涛总书记在中央党校重要讲话中向全党提出和党的十七大报告强调的根本性要求,深刻理解和正确贯彻这些要求还必须与学习领会马克思主义中国化其他最新成果结合起来,与学习胡锦涛同志有关重要讲话结合起来,与我们正在做的各方面工作结合起来。推进学习型政党、学习型社会建设有利于推进全党与全社会重视学习、重新学习、善于学习,更好地实现坚持解放思想的要求;有利于增强全党与全社会的学习创新能力,促进改革开放的深入发展;有利于贯彻以人为本的核心理念,促进科学发展与社会和谐;有利于建好基础工程,实现全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。

＂ Four Firmness＂ which is put forward by Hu Jingtao, the Party＇s General Secretary, in his important speech at CPC Central School is the basic requirement for all the CPC party members. In order to have a deep understanding and correct implementation of the requirement, it is necessary to learn and comprehend other latest outcomes developed from Marxism, and to connect them with what we are doing in various aspects. Undoubtedly, advancement of learning-oriented Party construction and learning-oriented society construction helps to drive the Party and the society into emphasizing learning, restarting learning and being good at learning, which can realize the thinking liberation. It also helps to strengthen leaning creativity and deepen the development of reform.
