Cause Analysis of Corrosion Occurred in Large Crude Oil Tank and Protection Measures

针对进口原油高硫、重质化,新建原油罐大型化,原油储备油库沿海布局的趋势,原油储罐的腐蚀问题越来越受到重视。根据产生腐蚀的原因,提出了涂料防腐方案,并提出支柱对应处底板增焊不锈钢板等防护措施及罐底板采用涂料与阴极保护的联合保护方案。

With respect to the situations that the imported oil has high sulphur composition and new constructed oil tank always has large volume and locates along seaside, more and more attention has been paid to the corrosion occurred in oil tank. Based on the cause of corrosion, a paint anticorrosion scheme was proposed. In this scheme, stainless steel overlay is welded at the intersection of pillar and base plate, and the base plate is protected with paint and cathodic protection method.
