Based on analyzing property of the current packet filter firewall,The writer proposes a new approach to packet filter, which combines decision tree and Bloom Filters after studying the deficiency of the current packet filter firewall. Meanwhile, the cost of its approach is analyzed and its result shows that the approach can improve the performance significantly.
