Interleukin 6 and Metabolic Syndrome

代谢综合征是以中心性肥胖、糖尿病或糖调节受损、高血压、血脂异常等为主要特征,以胰岛素抵抗为共同病理生理基础,以多种代谢疾病合并出现的严重威胁人类健康的临床综合征。近来有研究表明,炎性因子与代谢综合征关系密切,炎性因子中的白细胞介素6(IL-6)与肥胖、胰岛素抵抗相关,而且在糖尿病发生发展过程中起重要作用。

Metabolic syndrome is a kind of clinical syndrome with the main feature of centricity obesity, diabetes or damaged glucose regulation, hypertension, lipid abnormality, and the common pathophysiological basis of insulin resistance, which often occurre binded with its multiple types and threaten the health of people seriously. Recent studies showed inflammatory factors had close relation- ship with metabolic syndrome, among which the IL-6 is related to obesity and insulin resistance and olav an imoortant role in the genesis and development of diabetes.
