After more than seven decades of continuous development, Japanese underground town has become a very unique and important business public space within urban planning project. Japanese underground town management and operation, the development scale and thc legal system stipulation also obtained the world leading status. This article reviews the developing process of Japanese underground town with its experience of management, development and operation, internal environment and the city relations, analyzing the characteristic of Japanese underground town, which can provide reference to our country＇s city management and the development of underground town.
