试析莲花文学意象的起源与发生

An Analysis on the Origin and Occurrence of Literary Image of Lotus Flowers

莲花首先因为其实用性而为先民关注,又由于其独特的外形而成为图腾与生殖崇拜的对象。莲花文学意象的发生则是从《诗经》与《楚辞》开始的。佛教的传入,进一步丰富了我国古代文学中莲花意象的象征意蕴,成为莲花文学意象的又一源头。中外文化的共同作用促使莲花文学意象不断发展和丰富。

Lotus flowers attracted our ancestors ＇ attention not only because of their application but also because of its special appearmace that is considered as the objects admired by totem and breeding. Occurrence of lotus flowers＇ literary image originated from Shi Jing and Chu Ci. Spreading of the Buddha further enriched symbolic in notation of lotus flowers in ancient Chinese literature and became another origin of images of the lotus flowers. Meanwhile, joint efforts of Chinese and foreign literature promote the development and enrichness of its image.
