On the basis of Pakistan Ghazi-Barotha Hydropower Project, Contract C-03 Power Complex and Auxiliary Works, this article briefly describes the contract terms and conditions under which the Contractor is entitled to claim Extension of Time for Completion as well as the procedure and principle to be complied with during the claim process under FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction （edition 1999）. It also introduces the detailed steps by which the Contractorsuccessfully complete the claim for Exten- sion of Time for Completion of the Works under Contract C-03, and concludes the principle and method for the preparation of the Time Claim Report and Cost Claim Report in order to provide reference for other similar projects.
