本文主要探讨礼的神圣性之演化和礼的本质,中国古代之礼虽然起源于原始社会后期的祭祀活动,具有神圣性,但是这一特性在以后的社会发展中逐渐演化,礼由最初沟通人、神关系的中介发展为春秋时代以礼为人世事务最终支配观念的原则。论文从对礼的本质论述中更进一步分析了礼的法律意义。

The article mainly discusses the development of ritual sacredness and essence. In ancient China, although ritual originated from the activities of scarifying in the primitive society, it had sacredness, this characteristic gradually changed. At the beginning, ritual was the media between god and human being, and then developed as the principle of the dominated idea to the affairs of the world. The article further analyses the legal meaning of ritual.
