Combined with the development of field bus system, the author analyzes the necessity of lowering the cost of field bus intelligent instrument and control equipment, studies the reason why man can＇t completdy fulfill the networking of field equipment in a short term, discusses the application prospect of field bus, and evaluates its economic benefits, in order to promote the development of field bus system.
