摘要 高职院校培养的是高级技术应用型人才,对英语教学水平理应有较高要求,然而高职英语教学的现状不容乐观。究其原因是多方面的,其中一个主要原因是教师的教学观念和方法有待革新,把任务型教学引入高职英语课堂具有现实意义,同时也对教师提出了新的要求,教师要转变课堂角色,不断提高自身英语交际能力,不断提高自己驾驭和掌控课堂的能力。 Potytechnic colleges are cultivating senior technical application personnel, thus they should have higher demands on the English teaching standard. However the status quo of the English teaching in polytechnic colleges is not satisfying. This has many reasons, the major one of which is that the teaching concept and methods of teachers have much room for improvement. It has practical significance to introduce Task-based language Teaching (TBLT) into the English ctasses of polytechnic colleges. Furthermore, it presents higher demands for teachers. Teachers are to change their roles, improve their communicative competence and have a good control of their classes.
