Although barrier property is one of the key parameters affecting the shelf life of products, traditional methods of testing containers＇ water vapour permeability still fall short not only in testing efficiency but also in terms of operation conveniences. Just for that reason, a method of rapidly determining the water vapour permeability of containers is introduced in this article with a view of improving testing efficiency and facilitating operation.
