The main sources of the in-vehicle noise of Feng-xing MPV are identified and the application of the techniques of noise isolation and attenuation is illustrated. A number of noise deadening materials are compared and corresponding noise control measures are proposed and tested, and one of three noise attenuation schemes is chosen with consideration of cost factor.
