It reviewed the .source and development of life and death education. It discussed both the necessity of carrying out life and death education and reasonable content structure and unfolding modes. It pointed out that life and death education may assign wills and ability of humanistic concern for nursing students and finally to enhance medical and nursing quality, which should be taken as the composition part of medical education.
