H.323作为IP电话运营所采用的主流协议,具有与传统电信网络结合紧密、运营管理机制完善和设备互通性良好等优势,但存在可扩展性较差、协议过于复杂和业务部署繁琐等不足,影响了IP电话的进一步发展。在深入分析H.323协议体系结构的基础上,对H.323协议体系中的网关功能、服务部署等问题进行改进并验证方案的可行性是本文所做的主要工作。

H. 323 protocol is the main standard applied in the commercial IP phone system. It＇ s mature hut still has some defects that block the further development of the IP phone. The article studies the problems of H. 323 protocol in detail and tries to put forward some feasible countermeasures to improve H. 323 protocol.
