中国在不久的将来将成为全球最大的化学品消费市场,但传统的高消耗、高排放、低效率的粗放型增长方式仍未从根本上得到转变。资源利用率低,环境污染严重,21世纪我国面临的资源和环境形势将更加严峻。绿色化学化工科学与技术正是解决这些重大问题,保证社会可持续发展的非常关键的科学与技术。应当更进一步加强多方面的交叉研究,加强政府、产业界、学术界和消费者的通力合作,倡导绿色消费,才能更好构建以人为本的和谐社会。

China will be one of the biggest consumption markets of chemicals in the world in near future with its fast development in economy, but the development mode of high cost and emission, low efficiency hasn＇t been changed radically. China will face more severe challenges in resources and environment in the 21st century. Green chemical science and technology is vitally important in solving these problems and keeping the society on the sustainable development. Further cross work needs to be done, and united efforts should be made among the. governments, industries, acadomes, and consumers must be strengthened to advocate the ＂green＂ consumption to create a balanced human-oriented society.
