文章概述了国内外矿产资源经济学学科体系的形成过程,系统总结了矿产资源经济学研究的对象、特性、研究的主要内容以及我国矿产资源经济学研究的主要成果;确定了矿产资源经济学的学科地位,并指出了今后我国矿产资源经济学研究主要发展方向:一是矿产资源经济学与相关学科的关系的研究;二是面向矿产资源管理实践进行矿产资源经济学研究;三是提高研究手段和大力培养研究人才。
