哈佛大学捐赠基金对其更好的发挥世界一流大学教学、科研、服务社会的功能起到了重要的作用，文章以2005财政年度为例对哈佛大学捐赠基金的管理模式、主要投资类别、基金投资的风险管理等运作模式进行了分析，并对我国高校捐赠基金的运作提出相应建议。

In Harvard University,endowment funds plays an important role in education and research. This article,taking the 2005 fiscal year of the university for example, analyzes the operation of the endowment funds and provides some suggestions to Chinese universities in how to run the endowment funds.
