广西城乡居民体质指数和腰围水平与代谢综合征的关系

The Study on the Relationship of MS with BMI and WC in Residents of Urban and Rural in Guangxi

目的探讨广西城乡居民成人体质指数(BMI)、腰围(WC)水平与代谢综合征(MS)的关系。方法根据"2002年中国居民营养与健康状况调查"所确定的多阶段随机整群抽样方法,对广西4个城市和4个县18岁及以上2970名城乡居民进行了身高、体重、腰围测量以及血糖、血脂检测。结果广西成年居民MS患病率为3.77%,其中城市为5.56%,农村为2.05%,男性为4.99%,女性为2.68%;BMI<18.5、18.5～23.9、24～27.9、≥28kg/m2的城乡成年居民,MS患病率分别为0.00%,0.57%,17.01%,33.59%,差别有统计学意义(P<0.01)。男性WC<85、85～89、≥90cm,MS患病率分别为1.23%,13.97%,28.24%;女性WC<75、75～80、≥80cm,MS患病率分别为0.27%,0.95%,15.42%,差别有统计学意义(P<0.01)。BMI≥28kg/m2和男性WC≥85cm、女性≥80cm,MS患病率较高且不受年龄影响。结论超重、肥胖和腹型肥胖的居民MS患病率较高。

Objective To explore the relationship of metabolic syndrome （MS） with body mass index （BMI） and waist circumference （WC） in residents of urban and rural in Guangxi. Methods According to the method of multistage stratified randomized cluster sampling confirmed in ＂The Nutrition and Health Status of the Chinese People, 2002＂, 2 970 urban and rural people （aged ≥ 18 years） were selected from 4 cities and 4 countries in Guangxi and their body height, weight, waist circumference and laboratory tests were investigated. Results The prevalence rate of MS was 3.77%, and the urban rate （5.56%） was higher than that of the rural （2.05%）, male＇ s rate （4.99%） was higher than female＇ s （2.68%）. The prevalence rates of MS in groups with BMI〈 18.5, 18.5～23.9, 24～27.9 or ≥ 28 kg/m^2 were 0.00%, 0.57%, 17.1% or 33.59%, respectively （P〈0.01）. For male groups with WC〈85 cm, 85～89 cm or 390 cm, the prevalence rates of MS were 1.23%, 13.97%, 28.24%, respectively; for female groups with WC〈75cm,75～80 cm or ≥80 cm, the prevalence rate of MS were 0.27%, 0.95% or 15.42%, respectively （all P〈0.01）. The prevalence rate of adult MS almost wasn＇t affected by the age when BMI ≥ 28 kg/m^2 and WC ≥ 85 cm in male, MC ≥ 80 cm in female. Conclusion Body overweight, obesity and WC were significantly associated with MS in residents of urban and rural in Guangxi.
