法拉第发现“磁致旋光”效应过程中的一个关键问题

摘要 对汤姆孙和法拉第之间的通信以及《法拉第日记》中的部分内容进行了详细研究.结果表明,法拉第由寻求光-电联系转向寻求光-磁联系是法拉第独立完成的,而不是受汤姆孙信件的影响. Faraday and William Thomsons' correspondences and a part contents of Faraday's Diary are explained and analyzed in detail. The research that Faraday attempted to discovery some relation between light and electricity was replaced by other research to attempted to discovery some relation between light and magnetism. The change was accomplished by Faraday all alone, in fact he had not been influenced by the William Thomson's letter.
