摘要
VxWorks是一个运行在目标机上的高性能、可裁剪的嵌入式实时操作系统,以其良好的可靠性和卓越的实时性被广泛应用于通信、航空、航天等多个领域中。根据当前最流行的交换机的设计思想,讨论基于MPC8245嵌入式处理器和VxWorks下的PCI总线的驱动程序以及PCI设备的查找。
The PCI device driver is designed based on PowerPC 603e and VxWorks real time operating system. The processor is MPC8245 and the PCI device is Intel 82559 network adapter. BSP(Board Support Package) is a very important conception in VxWorks. A Board Support Package provides a standardized interface between hardware and the operating system. The PCI bus is initialized in BSP. This paper writes the detail about the PCI bus initialization and PCI device’s seek and memory map.
