On the Fate of Young Industrial Workers in Modern China

包括童工在内的近代青年产业工人,是中国近代经济生活和社会结构发生重大变化过程中产生的社会群体,是资本压迫和剥削的重要对象,其命运反映了中国近代社会的重要变迁。他们身受帝国主义、资本主义和封建专制主义的压榨,生存状况比一般工人还要凄惨。他们不甘心忍受种种非人的待遇,为改变自己的命运进行了顽强的反抗斗争,不断探索新的出路,逐步走向成熟。

Young industrial workers in modern China,including children workers,was a social group arising from the great changes in economic life and social structure.Their fate mirrored the significant change of Chinese modern society.They were oppressed by imperialism,capitalism and feudalism and lived even more miserably than common workers.They did not reconcile to the inhuman treatment and rose up to change their fate,and gradually became mature in the struggling process.
