This paper summarizes the recent studies on phytoremediation of soil contaminated by organic contaminants, especially about phytoextraction, rhizodegradation and soil enzyme for phytoremediation. The paper also discusses the related remediation based on plant, such as artificial inoculation, adding solubilizer, addition of method of tissue culture, molecular biology. Finally, further research in this area is highlighted
