动态境遇的报刊文化品格、文学面貌及研究方法——以晚清、民国时期的小报为例

On the Cultural Character and Literary Features of the Press in Mobile Situations——Taking as examples the tabloids in the late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China

由报刊进入现代文学的生成过程,能够回到在后设的文学史话语里已经消失的"文学现场",而把握编者、作者和读者三方的互动关系,是考察报刊文学的重要途径。从文学面貌上看,小报登载的特性决定了作品命运,读者、作者们共同建构了文学的"时尚"及展露社会生活的"实录"体式。在研究方法上,应充分理解报刊蕴含的"动态"性质,注意大小文本相互撞击所生成的意义,考察同一事实的报导差异和不同时段编者的意图,可梳理出隐含的历史流脉。

Studying the creation of contemporary literature by way of surveying the press, we can reproduce the literary context that cannot be found in the discourse of literature history. The relationship between editors, authors and readers is an important clue to the study of the press literature. Some case studies may illustrate how the tabloids, driven by readers＇ gusto, replaced their role of advocating elegance with one of identifying with and fabricating com- mon interest, how the editors, authors and readers conspired to construct the literary ＂vogue＂, and how the implied historical development could be made clear by exploring the different reports of the same event and the editors＇ in- tention in different periods of time.
