摘要
纷者整之、孤者辅之、板者活之、直者婉之、俗者雅之、枯者腴之,是刘熙载《艺概》对《左传》叙事艺术的重要总结。但这六个方面各为何意?都具体就《左传》哪些叙事而言?作者未说,引用者不讲,多数读者不免糊涂。因此笔者不揣冒昧,拟结合自己读《左传》的一些体悟,对刘氏这些观点作若干阐释,以期对《左传》研究有所推动。
In his Conspectus on Art, Liu Xizai concludes the narrating skills of Zuo Zhuan as "integrating the disorderly, supplementing the isolated, activating the stiff, making the direct tactful, the vulgar refined, the sparse enriched". However, Liu and the succeeded quoters have never made sufficient interpretation. This article ventures to do that and expects to be helpful to the study of Zuo Zhuan.
